A good article can make you want to stop and ask a question. Getting back to it should be easy.
Threadmark is a conversational reading prototype. The idea is to listen, interrupt naturally when something catches your attention, explore the question, and return to the passage you were reading.
The article stays unchanged. Questions and explanations sit alongside it, attached to the relevant passage, so the author's words and the conversation remain distinct. The reader can follow a tangent without surrendering their place in the source.
The most important test is a small one: can that interruption and return feel like a single, comfortable conversation? The prototype is being built around that experience.
