Genetic Playbook
A raw DNA file contains a great deal of information and very little help with where to begin.
Genetic Playbook explored how to turn that file into an understandable report. The analysis ran in the browser, so using the tool did not require sending the raw file to an analysis server.
One interface change was to put a plain-language explanation before the gene identifier. The underlying variant and supporting references could sit in the details. That made the report easier to navigate, while leaving the harder question of how confidently to interpret a finding.
The preserved interface later used the name GenePriv. The project is closed and is included here as part of the work's history. It is not offered as a current health service.
