Built with a builder

Carbide List

Finishing a house means getting a lot of small details right, with several people seeing different parts of the work.

Carbide List grew out of work with Bellisimo Homes. It gives a builder, crew, and homeowner a shared place for the remaining work: what needs attention, where it is, and the photos that make the request clear. English and Spanish are part of the same workflow.

One decision mattered more than a checkbox: submitting work and verifying it are separate actions. A crew member can show what was done, and the builder can compare that with the original request before accepting it. The original photo stays intact when someone adds a mark or a note.

The aim is to make the handoff clear enough that people can get on with the work. The product continues to develop around that everyday use.
